This Cookie Policy explains how Mayfair Labs Ltd ("Finium", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies across the Finium platform — the marketing website at finium.io, the web application at app.finium.io, and the Finium iOS and Android apps. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and mobile device identifiers. For simplicity we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- keep you signed in and keep your session secure;
- remember your preferences and settings;
- protect against fraud and abuse;
- measure performance and — only if you opt in — understand how the product is used so we can improve it;
- measure the effectiveness of our marketing, where you have given consent.
Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the platform to work, including authentication, session management, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These are always on and do not require consent. Retained for up to 12 months.
- Preferences: remember choices such as interface settings and currency. Retained for up to 12 months.
- Product analytics: optional, off by default. If you opt in, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand product usage and improve Finium. Retained for up to 24 months.
- Marketing / advertising: optional, off by default. Used to measure and improve campaigns, in line with Google Consent Mode v2 (ads storage, ad user data and ad personalisation as separate controls). Retained for up to 12 months. We do not sell your personal data.

Managing your choices
When you first visit the marketing website you can accept all, reject non-essential, or customise your cookie choices in the consent banner. You can change those choices at any time from the cookie settings on the website. Inside the app, signed-in users can manage product-analytics and advertising-related consent from Settings → Privacy; every change is recorded in an append-only, tamper-evident consent log. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and we treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals as an opt-out of non-essential categories where we can detect them. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will stop parts of the platform from working.
Cookies from our providers
Some cookies are set by the sub-processors that help us run the platform — for example Auth0 for authentication, and Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) if you opt in to analytics. These operate under their own privacy notices. The full list of our sub-processors is available on request at contact@finium.io.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law or how we operate. We will publish any update on this page with a new version number and date, and where the change is material we will ask you to review your choices again.
