Refund policy

Version 2.0 · Last updated 7 June 2026

Finium is a product of Mayfair Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17225417), with its registered office at 105 High Street, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 4RR. This policy explains when you can get a refund, how cancellations work across the Finium platform, and what to do if something has gone wrong with a payment. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

How Finium is sold

A Finium subscription gives you access to the whole platform — the web application at app.finium.io and the Finium iOS and Android apps — under a single account. All Finium subscriptions are sold and billed via the web, through our merchant of record, Stripe, at app.finium.io. The mobile apps do not sell subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Because of that, this single refund policy applies to every Finium subscription regardless of which device you signed up or signed in on.

Your 14-day free trial

Finium starts with a 14-day free trial. You do not need to enter a card to begin. If you do nothing, the trial ends and you are not charged. You can cancel the trial at any time before it ends at no cost.

14-day cooling-off period after your first paid charge

If you choose to subscribe and we take payment for the first time, you have 14 calendar days from the date of that first charge to change your mind and receive a full refund. This is your statutory right under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not need to give a reason.

To exercise this right, email contact@finium.io from the address on your account within those 14 days and ask to cancel under the cooling-off period. We will stop the subscription and refund the amount paid to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of receiving your request.

The cooling-off period applies once, to your first paid subscription. It does not reset on each renewal.

After the cooling-off period

After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, paid subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from inside the Service or by contacting us, and:

  • Monthly plan: cancellation stops the next monthly charge. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the remainder of the current month.
  • Annual plan: cancellation stops the next annual renewal. You keep access until the end of the 12 months you have already paid for. We do not refund unused months of an annual term outside the cooling-off period.

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the price published on finium.io/#pricing at the time of renewal, until you cancel. If we change the price for renewals we will tell you at least 14 days in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

We do not provide refunds for renewal charges that you forgot to cancel, except where the 14-day cooling-off period applies or where required by law.

Exceptions where we will still refund you

Outside the cooling-off period, we will still refund you in the following situations:

  • Duplicate or accidental charges: if you have been billed twice for the same period, or charged after you cancelled, contact us and we will refund the duplicate amount.
  • Service unavailability: if the Service has been unavailable to you for a sustained period due to a fault on our side, we may refund or credit a portion of the affected period at our discretion.
  • Unauthorised payment: if a charge was made without your authority (for example, by someone using your card without permission), contact us as soon as you notice and we will investigate and refund the unauthorised amount.
  • Where the law requires it: nothing in this policy limits any refund or remedy you are entitled to under applicable consumer protection law.

How payments and refunds are processed

Payments and refunds for Finium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take up to 10 business days for a refunded amount to appear on your statement after we have issued the refund.

As our merchant of record, Stripe is responsible for executing refunds, remitting any applicable taxes, and handling payment disputes and chargebacks. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at contact@finium.io — we can usually resolve it faster than a card dispute, and raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while it is investigated.

How to cancel or request a refund

  • Cancel a subscription: sign in to Finium on the web or in the mobile app and go to Settings → Subscription, or contact us at contact@finium.io.
  • Request a refund: email contact@finium.io from the address on your account. Include the date of the charge and, if you have it, the Stripe receipt or order reference. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
