Terms and Conditions
Version 2.0 · Last updated 7 June 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Mayfair Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17225417), with its registered office at 105 High Street, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 4RR("Finium", "we", "us", "our").
2. What "the Service" means
"The Service", "the platform" and "Finium" refer collectively to the Finium software platform provided by Mayfair Labs Ltd, which you can access via:
- the marketing website at
finium.io; - the web application at
app.finium.io; - the Finium iOS app; and
- the Finium Android app.
These Terms apply to your use of the Service through any of those surfaces. By accessing any part of the Service or by subscribing to a paid plan you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. The Service
Finium is a software service that helps individuals and households organise their financial information — accounts, spending, assets, liabilities and future commitments — in one place. Finium provides tools for financial visibility and organisation. Finium does not provide financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and is not a bank, lender or investment platform.
4. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. A single account works across the website, web app and mobile apps. You must provide accurate information when you sign up, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us immediately at contact@finium.io if you suspect your account has been compromised. You are responsible for all activity on your account. The Service is not offered to anyone under 18.
5. Free trial
Finium starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to begin. If you do not subscribe, the trial ends automatically and you are not charged.
6. Subscription, pricing and billing
After the free trial you may subscribe to a paid plan. Current prices are £9.99 per month or £99 per year, as published on finium.io/#pricing. Prices include UK VAT where applicable. One subscription covers all surfaces of the Service (web and mobile) for a single account.
All subscriptions are sold via the web only, through our merchant of record, Stripe, on app.finium.io. As merchant of record, Stripe is responsible for processing the payment, calculating and remitting any applicable sales taxes, providing receipts, executing refunds, and handling payment disputes and chargebacks. Stripe's terms apply to the payment transaction itself; these Terms govern your relationship with Finium for the Service. If you have a billing dispute, please contact us first at contact@finium.io so we can resolve it — raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the matter is investigated.
The Finium mobile apps do not sell subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. You sign in on mobile with an account that already has, or is in trial of, a web subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price published at the time of renewal, until you cancel. If we change the price that applies to your renewals, we will give you at least 14 days' advance notice by email or in-app. A price change only takes effect for renewals that fall after that notice period, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from inside the Service (web or mobile) or by emailing contact@finium.io. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period from your first paid charge under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Full details — including how to request a refund and the limited exceptions outside the cooling-off period — are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, probe or attempt to disrupt the Service; (b) use the Service to process personal data of third parties without a lawful basis of your own; (c) upload malware, sexually explicit material, or material that infringes intellectual property rights; (d) attempt to access another user's account or data; or (e) use the Service in breach of applicable law or sanctions. We may suspend access while we investigate a suspected breach.
9. Data you upload
You may upload bank statements and other personal financial data, whether from the web app or the mobile apps. You warrant that you have the right to provide that data and that your use of Finium complies with applicable law, your bank's terms, and any employer or household agreements that apply to you. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train foundation models.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for continuous availability across all surfaces of the Service, but we may need to take parts of the Service offline for maintenance, security or regulatory reasons. We may change features, pricing (with notice as described above) or these Terms. For material changes we will notify you in-app or by email and ask you to review the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.
11. Mobile app stores
If you install the Finium iOS or Android app, Apple Inc. or Google LLC (as applicable) provides the app distribution channel. The relevant app-store terms apply to your download and installation of the app, but they do not change these Terms, which remain the contract between you and Finium for use of the Service. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms.
12. Not financial advice
Content on the Site and outputs in the Service are for general information and decision-support only. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayfair Labs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for direct damages arising from the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Third-party links and integrations
The Service may link to third-party websites or integrate with third-party providers (for example, an FCA-regulated Open Banking provider). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Review their terms and privacy policies separately.
15. Suspension and termination by Finium
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time: (a) if you breach these Terms or our acceptable-use rules; (b) if we are required to do so by law, a regulator, or a payment provider; (c) to protect the security or integrity of the Service or other users; or (d) on reasonable notice if we decide to stop offering the Service or your plan. We will give you notice where it is practical and lawful to do so. If we terminate without cause and you have paid in advance for a period you can no longer use, we will refund the unused portion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the Data you upload, Intellectual property, Indemnification, Liability and Governing law sections) continue to apply afterwards.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Finium for your use of the Service, and replace any earlier agreements or understandings on that subject.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18. Waiver
If we do not enforce a right or provision of these Terms on any occasion, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or your rights under them, without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms to another entity — for example, as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets — provided your rights under these Terms are not materially reduced. These Terms bind and benefit each party's permitted successors and assigns.
20. Intellectual property
The Service and all associated software, content, trademarks, logos, designs and other materials are owned by or licensed to Mayfair Labs Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any part of the Service except where applicable law permits. Any feedback you send us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or any obligation to you.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Mayfair Labs Ltd and its directors, personnel and contractors against claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, the data or content you upload, or your breach of applicable law or the rights of a third party. This obligation continues after these Terms end. It does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach or negligence, and it does not limit your rights as a consumer where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.
22. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial action, failures of telecommunications or internet providers, failures of third-party providers, cyber-attacks, or government action.
23. Beta features
Certain features may be identified as beta, preview or experimental. These features are provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory statutory rights you have in your country of residence.
25. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact us at contact@finium.io. Our registered office is 105 High Street, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 4RR. Signed-in users can also send feedback or report an issue from inside the app using Share feedback.
